Engage Church
Nehemiah is the primary way we do discipleship here at Engage. It is not a bible study, rather an 18-week journey designed to develop self-awareness, resilience, and empower you to embody the key traits of an Innovative Reconciler within you to live on mission according to God's design. TNI (The Nehemiah Institute) is for those who are young in their faith looking to understand more, those who are seasoned in their faith looking to go deeper with God, those who don't know God and are still asking questions, and those who are wrestling with God and unsure how to engage with Him honestly. Whoever you are, wherever you may find yourself, Nehemiah is for you.

The summer cohort
"In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists."
Our world is changing quickly. Now, more than ever, we need disciples of Jesus who are deeply connected to God, practice self-awareness, demonstrate resilience, embody compassion, and can utilize wisdom when critically thinking to solve complex problems. If the Church is going to be a leader in the future, the Body must be equipped to carry weight now.
Developing an Innovative Reconciler takes time. However, we've consolidated our process into a 4 week intensive now offered during the summer.

Nehemiah:
Franklin County
In the Spring of 2025, Pastor Derrick Hayes of Engage Apalachicola launched the Nehemiah Institute within the Franklin County Jail in partnership with the staff there. We are excited to see this work continue and grateful for the life change and transformation already taking place within the lives of these 20-25 men.
Please continue to pray for wisdom, for the heart of the Gospel to take root, and for a desire for the Lordship of Christ to rule and reign in their hearts.
Nehemiah: Leon County
Recently, Engage has been granted an opportunity to offer Nehemiah as a program within Leon County Jail. We are eager and expectant for what this opportunity will mean for those we serve and the body of Christ as a whole. We are hungry for redemption, and humbled by an opportunity to demonstrate God's compassion.
